Client Testimonials
From Image to Fine Art
I decided to begin printing and framing some of my Astrophotography recently. My only problem is that my ancient Epson color printer is hopelessly clogged and unusable. I don’t print very frequently so in order to avoid the unjustifiable cost of a new, modern, high quality color printer, I sent a test file of the Elephant Trunk Nebula to Appalachian Astroworks. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but having worked in the print industry for years, I knew what to look for. Was there a choice of quality papers? Yes. Were post-printing archival finishes like varnish available? Absolutely. Did I have cropping and border options? I sure did. In short, I had the control I wanted for my test print. A few days after my print submission, I received my output in the mail. To say that I was pleased with what I saw would be an understatement. The detail was outstanding and the level of color was a precise match of the file I sent. Needless to say, I’ll be back for more prints. Now I just have to find more room on my walls for Astro photos!
Huge thanks to Aaron for printing my Andromeda Galaxy image as a 17×30 fine art print. Seeing one of my astrophotography images brought to life at this scale was incredible. The detail, color, and depth came through beautifully, and the final print exceeded my expectations. After spending so much time capturing and processing these images, there’s nothing quite like finally seeing the work off the screen and on the wall. Aaron absolutely nailed it!
Huge thanks to Aaron for printing my latest astrophotography piece, the Horsehead Nebula, on premium fine art paper. The level of detail, rich black levels, and vibrant colors exceeded every expectation. It looks stunning, crisp, and thoroughly professional on the wall. If you want your photography printed with exceptional care and precision, Aaron is the person to go to.
